		Hanley, Richard Gerald  
		March 31, 1934 - December 31, 2020  
		Born in Faribault, MN to John Joseph Hanley and 
		Theresa Bernadette O'Brien Hanley, the eldest of 5 children. He was a 
		Graduate of Bethlehem Academy, University of St. Thomas (BA) and the 
		University of Minnesota (MA). Richard was united in marriage to Kathleen 
		Louise Paquette on August 27, 1960. They enjoyed over four decades 
		together raising 7 children, camping, traveling, fishing and spending 
		time with family. He worked as a Teacher/Coach at Adams High school in 
		Adams, MN from 1956-57. He served in the US Army 1957-1959. He was a 
		Teacher/Coach for the Wayzata School District from 1959 to his 
		retirement in 1986. He was the Manager of Winning Edge Learning Center, 
		Wayzata, MN 1986-1989, Director at North Shore Community Recreation, 
		Hennepin County Service Center-1989-2001. He was a high school football 
		official for 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of 
		Columbus. He was an avid baseball fan, especially "His" Minnesota Twins. 
		Richard married Phyllis A. Prather on November 20, 2010 in Our Lady 
		Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in LaBelle, FL.  
		Preceded in death by Kathleen L. Hanley, wife; John 
		J. Hanley, father; Theresa B. Hanley, mother; brothers Joseph M. Hanley, 
		Lee A. Hanley and sister Rita R. Hanley. Survived by: Phyllis P. Hanley, 
		wife; brother Dennis (Patricia), daughter Jacqueline M. Gaffner (Kevin); 
		sons Stephen R. Hanley (Riki), Thomas M. Hanley (Sheri), Martin J. 
		Hanley (Julie), Gregory A Hanley (Susanne), Mitchell E. Hanley 
		(Christine), John L. Hanley (Kris); 15 grandchildren and 5 great 
		grand-children. Volunteer Service: Amicus, Softball Umpire, Hennepin 
		County Adult Corrections, Parker Lakes Golf Center, St. Bartholomew 
		Parish Council, Adult ESL Tutor, Wayzata; Elementary Reading Tutor, 
		LaBelle, FL, St. Columbkille Parish Thrift Store, Ft. Meyers, FL, Harry 
		Chapin Food Shelf, Ft. Meyers, FL, US Army Corps of Engineers Alva, FL.
		 
		A Memorial Ceremony to be announced. A private 
		Christian Mass for the family, due to Corona-19, will be at St. 
		Bartholomew Catholic Church in Wayzata, MN followed by interment at Fort 
		Snelling. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Interfaith
