Margie attended the University of Minnesota, Morris Campus.  She met her husband, Charles Kirwin there and they married in 1970.  They had one son, Justin, who lives in the Alexandria, MN area.  He is married and has two small children.  Margie’s husband, Chuck never remarried.  He often said that “there was only one Margie.”  He now resides in Panama.

Margie was an avid gardener and loved to sew and can fruit and vegetables.  Margie and Chuck had a hobby farm in Morris and she loved growing her own vegetable and flowers.  She did a 100% turnaround from “city girl” to country wife and mother!  She had wonderful memories of her years at WHS and kept in touch with a few of her classmates.
